Dear Jack,
Your five month birthday was yesterday. You also stayed with a sitter in the evening for the first time. Yes, that means that after five months, your dad and I got to go out on a date.
When I think about going that long without an evening alone with your dad, five months seems like forever. When I think about how it was five months ago yesterday that you were born, five months seems like a blink of an eye.
Isn't it funny how time works?
