Fashion Statement

Dear Jack,

We took you to Pioneer Day, but for you, the day was much more about hanging out with your family and much less about learning about the ways things used to be. You are still much too busy learning about how things are to be worried about how they used to be.

So the news for you today is your outfit.

Are overalls without a shirt super cute or hillbilly?

Are baby legs trendy or reminiscent of River Dance?

I picked the outfit, so you know where I weigh in on this, but I was listening in on the various conversations between your dad and other men and I could tell that your daddy was staging a fashion coup.

So when Mrs. Hazen mentioned that she'd seen more and more babies wearing baby legs and that the trend must really be catching on, it was all I could do not to slip her a twenty.
